Yes, now you have arrived, OLODUM will perform on Saturday April 6th on the main stage located at the Plaza de Bous d'Ondara, this is our position now because Arerê, in the second edition, is consolidated with one of the benchmark festivals for the entire international public that pays homage to percussion and Afro-Brazilian culture.
The Olodum Afro bloc was founded on April 25, 1979 in the city of Salvador, capital of the Brazilian state of Bahia, intended as a leisure option for the residents of the Maciel-Pelourinho neighborhood, carrying out actions to combat racial discrimination, encouraging self-esteem and pride of Afro-Brazilians, defending civil and human rights and teaching classes on various cultural activities. Olodum is further carried out during the various activities that create opportunities and generate income for merchants in the Maciel – Pelourinho area, such as the FEMADUM festival.
