Elbermario, comes from the very heart of Candeal, a 42-year-old Bahian percussionist, began his musical career at just 8 years old in the Candeal neighborhood where he was born and grew up alongside countless musicians and artists.

Elbermario possesses the gift of creativity and masterful execution through his music, a natural leader and strong, imposing figure who quickly stands out among the young people of his generation.

For 11 years (2001) he was a musician in Carlinhos Brown's band, alongside Brown he learned and grew, participating in all of his productions, recordings and countless concerts. Elbermario has also collaborated with artists such as: Margareth Menezes, Timbalada, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Elza Soares, Jau Peri, Daniela Mercury, Sérgio Mendes, Black Eyed Peas or Santana among others.

In 2012 she decided to change course and take on bigger challenges. Since then she accepted the invitation to join the band of the incredible Ivete Sangalo, of which she is a part to this day.

Without a doubt, it is a privilege to be able to count on this animal of percussion in this 2025 edition, in which, in addition to enjoying his workshop, Elbermario will bring us the magic of the “Roda de Timbau do Candeal” by directing the already anticipated "Roda do Arerê" which this year promises to be a unique moment.
