Location
ARERÊ FEST is held in Ondara, a town of around seven thousand inhabitants, located in the north of the province of Alicante, in the paradisiacal region of La Marina Alta in the Valencian Country, Spain. Ondara is located just 4km from the coast, with a Mediterranean climate, mild winters and hot summers and with an average temperature of 18°C throughout the year, it has a wide range of restaurant services, small shops, supermarkets as well as hotels and Hostels, also in its vicinity is the "Portal de la Marina" shopping center that offers a wide range of leisure, shopping and restaurants.
Near Ondara there are important tourist towns such as Dénia (8km) which has an important port with connection between the Balearic Islands of Mallorca, Ibiza or Formentera with our region or, Xábia / Jávea (15km) with its spectacular beaches and coves of its coastline.
Strategically located between the south of Valencia and the north of Alicante, Ondara is just 92km from both cities, the journey from these and/or their airports to our town can be easily done by train, bus, taxi or even take advantage of applications to share transport, since a large part of the population travels daily between Ondara and these two provincial capitals for personal, commercial, study and/or work reasons, the journey time can range between 45min or 1h and 30min, depending of the means of transport.

Monumental bullring “The Levantine Jewel”
We have chosen two of the most important and cultural locations that we have in our town, the main stage and focus of most concerts, exhibitions and workshops will be located in the monumental bullring “La joya Levantina”, built in 1901 with arabesque style elements and a masonry and mortar structure, it was demolished during the Spanish civil war, rebuilt in 1957 and recently renovated and reused as the setting for important cultural events that take place in Ondara throughout the year, taking advantage of its capacity for more than 4000 people, different accesses, lockers, bathrooms and access for people with reduced mobility.

Building "El Prado"
The second scenario, but no less important, is the "El Prado" building located just opposite the previous one, recently restored (in 2010), this historic construction destined today for a multipurpose space was the nerve center in the past and continues to be, today, the meeting point for the inhabitants of Ondara. Today it has become a key facility for hosting events and boosting the cultural, social and economic life of the municipality, without forgetting its appeal as the former headquarters of the agricultural market and the economic engine of this region that had its splendor during the golden age of cultivation of the raisin, and that can still be seen in its structure.
Modernism, tradition and functionality are combined in this same and unique space, a reference for the region of La Marina Alta and the Province of Alicante, this is the building that will house our Forum and the different programmed activities such as exhibitions, conferences and trade fairs.
